Account Executive - Southeast Territory

Preferred location is Greenville, SC - but candidates from anywhere in the Southeast will be considered.


STRATEGIC AIMS:

Manage complex Sales Cycles within an assigned geographic territory of Godlan customers. Collaborate with Godlan Professional Services engagements through the entire project lifecycle. Co-develop and execute pre-sales strategies with Godlan Professional Services, Marketing and Management. Deliver presentations/to portfolio customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promotes and sells company Software Products and Services Projects through direct customer contacts within the Godlan installed base. Schedules sales and follow-up calls and submits reports of prospect activities and potential Services Projects. Identifies prospective customers and compiles information on competitive products. Collaborates with Customers, Godlan Engagement Managers and Godlan Professional Services in the creation of Software Sales Orders, Project Proposals, Statements of Work and Project Plans. Manages and communicates Sales and Services opportunitiesby being in constant contact with portfolio customers and by thoroughly understanding their business challenges, problems and potential.

This position is characterized by a sustained record of sales and project achievement and complete knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services. This is a sales position, typically requiring a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

This position reports to the Vice President of Customer Solutions



MARKETING STRATEGIES AND CUSTOMER PRESENTATIONS:

Responsible for participating in customer outreach strategy, including development of marketing material such as C-Level presentations, pre-sales presentations, elevator pitches.

Conduct customer visits, calls and presentations pertaining to our products and services (both technical & non-technical presentations)

Drive awareness of our products and services to portfolio customers community by partnering and collaborating with customer executives, functional managers, other key role members.

 

STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

Work with Engagement Managers, Marketing and Godlan Management to develop and optimize sales and service line strategy and offerings to installed base

Assist in developing proposals and partnering with Services leads to build and staff projects

Maintain key business relationships and enable achievement of specific objectives around all targeted accounts

Assist in maintaining/enhancing the readiness process for offerings within specific areas of expertise

Identify selling opportunities within a project or an account and communicate and position with a solution with Customers / Godlan Account Management



EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5+ years working experience in ERP Sales. Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes is a must.

Working with / for Consultancies that specialize in Project Management, Deployment and/or support of software-related products or services is a plus.

Solid understanding of Microsoft technology, competitive positioning and experience in the area of Manufacturing / Distribution

Stellar oral/written communication, organization and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated effectiveness in a customer facing role is an absolute must.

Understanding of IT applications in several industry verticals will be a significant plus



EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelors degree in Information Systems, Production and Operations Management or related field

Industry Certifications such as PMI, APICS and Manufacturing specific accreditations
